Water Fun

Things to Do on Sanibel Island this Spring

One of the best things about Sanibel Island isn’t just the beautiful sands, but it’s the fun you can have on and in the water. You can do some things with a bit of water fun; look for shells as you sit in the water and comb for shells. Some of the best shells can be found that way, and it’s cooling on a hot day. You can also do a little snorkeling, which will allow you and the family to see fish in the Gulf of Mexico and shells you may not see closer to the shore. Just be sure to be safe as you are doing it if you do it alone.

Spend the Day at the Beach

Another great thing about staying on Sanibel Island during the springtime is the beaches.  Did you know that when you stay with us at Blind Pass Condominiums, all our units do include things for the beach? Some of the items you will find in your rental are beach towels, beach chairs, a beach cart to carry everything down with you, a cooler, and a beach umbrella—no need to worry about packing those up in the car before leaving on vacation anymore. The only things we can recommend you bring with you are plenty of sunscreens, bug spray, and sand toys for the kids to play within the sand.

While there are many other things that you can do this spring here on Sanibel Island, we just wanted to mention these few with you. If you haven’t booked your next family vacation to stay in one of our Sanibel Island vacation rentals, now is the time. We hope to see you and your family as we hear all about the fun adventures you have while on vacation!
