And a little hint for your family is if you wade in the water a little and dig, you will find some of the most beautiful shells ever on the island. Just enjoy the time spent on the island as a family making new memories.

Explore the Island

When on vacation to Sanibel Island you and your family must go explore the island. There are so many cool things on the island that you can take advantage of such as shopping, visiting the Sanibel Lighthouse, going fishing and trying out local restaurants. Many locals love to grab a treat with their families at Pinocchio’s Italian Ice Cream, Gramma Dot’s Restaurant and The Mad Hatter Restaurant.
