Doc Ford’s Rum Bar & Grille is an excellent restaurant on the island that offers many different things to try. Some of the appetizers you can grab are Captiva Crab Cakes, Seared Tuna, Fried Calamari, and Caribbean Jerk Tostados. The main entrees are pretty impressive: Dry Rubbed Ribeye, Island Style Shrimp & Grits, Cedar Plank Salmon, and Deep-Water Mahi Mahi. Doc Ford’s also has soups, salads, and a raw bar you can enjoy. You will find that they have quite an impressive indoor and outdoor dining area to enjoy the beautiful views!

Some of the items that you will find on their menu are Hot Dogs, Hamburgers, Chicken Wings, Chicken Sandwiches, and so much more. We can’t forget to tell you about their Hand-dipped Milk Shakes, Floats, and their Old-Fashioned Sodas they offer. We promise that Schnapper’s Hots is like you’re stepping back in the ’50s and will make you want to visit for years to come.

The Blue Giraffe has several things on their menu that you may not find anywhere else on the island. One of the menu items that we think is pretty unique is the Grouper Ruben, which includes grouper and the classic things that make up a Ruben. Some of the other individual items you will find on the menu for lunch is Blue Giraffe Fish Tacos, Cuban Sandwich, Brutus Wrap, and Fish & Chips.
