This is a Standard Unit: A Standard Unit is a clean, comfortable condominium with basic amenities.

Blind Pass Condominiums are Sanibel’s hidden gem, nestled on the edge of huge Bowman Beach preserve, the last undeveloped multi-mile stretch of pink sand, shell-covered beachfront on the island.  Our unit, B-110, is one of the very best in this remarkably welcoming, family-friendly complex.

Within steps of our screened porch, you can be grilling fresh fish at the community grills, dipping in the heated swimming pool (one of the largest resort pools on the island), brushing up on your tennis game, or checking in with friendly staff at the condo office.  One of the unit’s two entrances is very near the dedicated carport, and accessed through a charming interior courtyard. 

Ours is the ONLY unit with three patio spaces – screened porch, outdoor patio, and a private sunbathing lanai.  Sip morning coffee in the Adirondack chairs on the outdoor patio nestled behind flowering shrubbery.  (Our outdoor patio is one of a very few!)  Listen to the night sounds from the quiet screened porch with moonlight shining in, or enjoy sunbathing on the private lanai with access either from the screened porch or sliding doors off the master bedroom. 

Inside, B110 is extremely light, bright and airy, with views out to the lushly landscaped Blind Pass grounds.  Fling open the sliding glass doors and screened windows in the living/dining area to let sunlight and salt breezes waft through your vacation dwelling. Our vintage Sanibel decorating theme brings brightly upholstered tropical patterns together with rattan couches and comfy swivel chairs. Sea and island-scape paintings throughout the condo enliven the light walls. 

 The large common area includes dining and living areas and a fully-equipped kitchen separated only by a convenient breakfast bar that allows for easy passing of dishes as well as a second eating space!  The kitchen window opens onto the interior courtyard.  Amenities in the living/dining/kitchen area include a large LED flat screen T.V. and D.V.D. player, along with a full-sized washer and drier behind louvered, accordion doors in the utility closet.  B-110 also has its own high-speed WiFi signal throughout the condo, as well as the extensive DirectTV lineup on all 3 condo TVs (in the living room, master bedroom, and guest bedroom).     

A large, sunny master bedroom with one king bed and a guest bedroom with two queen beds flank the common area. The master bedroom has a tub with shower while the guest bath has a large, walk-in shower.  Each bedroom has its own LED flat screen T.V. and D.V.D. player, chest of drawers, and ample closet space.  The master bedroom also has a desk.  Closets hold a full complement of pool and beach equipment.

As cozy and bright as B110 is, you’re here for the island’s nature experience!  Blind Pass Condominiums abounds with outdoor opportunities.   With your choice from a complimentary fleet of condominium-owned kayaks & canoes, launch yourself into the marvelous adventure of paddling Bowman Bayou, where you’ll glide past countless tropical birds of all descriptions.  Cross the bridge over Bowman Bayou (a 5-minute walk from your condo) and stroll down a winding path through palms and sea grape to the beach of turquoise water, open sea as far as the eye can see, and salt foam waves gently scouring the shore.  You won’t find a better vantage point from which to view the famed Sanibel sunsets, either!

Blind Pass condominiums are right across from J.N. “Ding” Darling National Wildlife Refuge, one of the crown jewels of the American system!  By car, you are less than 5 minutes from the front entrance.  By bike maybe 20 minutes.  A drive through the sanctuary in the late afternoon with the sunlight sparkling, fish jumping, huge white pelicans standing alongside tiny shorebirds and long-legged egrets, and you will want for nothing more.
